Week 2, Day 2 & 3 TMT

Days 2 & 3 combined!

I am combining another couple days back to back of my 10 Minute Trainer journey mostly because of the fact that, as a trainer that coaches/trains athletes, there are days where I shower twice a day due to working out multiple times.

Today (Day 3 of week 2)was one of those days.

I had my free Fit Club class and I chose to have them partake in a 40 minute Insanity workout..  I had to join in the fun!    The TMT workout program called for just a cardio day today, so I felt that there was an even trade for today’s workout.    This is what I call flexibility within workout routines.   Many athletes or exercise enthusiasts don’t always get that concept and it is VITAL to their success in fitness and in life.    Things don’t always HAVE to look the way you planned – if you have room for flexibility and spontanaety in life, that is where the true fun is had!

Day 2 (yesterday) I did partake in the called for workouts for TMT.   I chose to do
the total body and lower body (yikes!) back to back (what Tony Horton calls “Stacking”).   
While I was a bit concerned that it might be too much after having done intervals/running in the morning, it went very well and I even got through the lower body segment with much less grimacing before!

Onward and upward!
